Baby size themes in Ovia Pregnancy

March 25, 2019

One of the most-loved features in Ovia Pregnancy is our incredible, adorable, magical baby size themes. The moms-to-be using Ovia Pregnancy have the option to choose between not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR different themes to help them track their baby's growth!

  • Fruits & vegetables

  • Parisian bakery

  • Fun & games

  • Weird-but-cute animals

There's a theme for every person. Are you more traditional — all about the classics? Fruits & vegetables is probably the theme for you! It's the most common way to follow baby size, and it's a great way to visualize your little one growing!

If you're a daydreamer, always staring outside the windows of cars and searching the #wanderlust tag on Instagram, check out the Parisian bakery theme! You'll be transported to a French patisserie every week when you check out your baby's new size.

Are you sporty? (This can mean everything from video game enthusiast to professional athlete!) Try out (...get it?) our Fun & games theme to see which week your baby is a building block, a toy car, a paper airplane, and a baseball glove!

Last but absolutely not least is our Weird-but-cute animals theme, which is perfect for everyone who is curious about the world, always wants to learn more, and, yes, who loves looking at impossibly cute tiny animals (don't miss the sugar glider at week 18).

Some people choose a theme and stick to it the whole nine months, and others like to check out each theme every week to see what baby looks like in different themes. For instance, if you're 12 weeks pregnant, your baby is the size of a...

No matter what theme you choose, it's so much fun to watch baby grow. Whether they go from a poppyseed to a watermelon or a waterbear to a red panda, it's all about the countdown until the wonderful day you get to meet them.

This month, in honor of March Madness, we've been doing some fun basketball-themed baby sizes on social media! Follow us at @oviahealth on Facebook and Instagram to find out what week your baby is the size of a basketball (hint: it's uh...pretty late!). You'll also see adorable picture of #oviababies, learn more about your health, and be a part of another amazing Ovia community.
