Exercising while pregnant

Staying active not only supports your physical and mental health — it’s also a key part of a healthy pregnancy. Getting regular exercise helps you manage symptoms, support a healthy growing baby, and prepare for labor, among a number of other benefits. You should always speak with your provider when it comes to exercise during pregnancy — especially before you start a new exercise routine — but maintaining your current exercise routine is usually okay to do.
