Clearblue ovulation tests are able to detect both LH and estrogen. Before the LH surge that accompanies ovulation, your body will begin to produce increased amounts of estrogen. By tracking both of these fertility hormones, the Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Test is typically able to identify 4 or more fertile days, that’s both your two peak fertility days, and a period of high fertility leading up to them1.
When you select that you’ve taken an ovulation test, you’ll want to use the second row, which we created specifically for Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Predictor Kits.
Your test will show a flashing smiley face when you’re experiencing high fertility, and a static one when you’re at peak fertility.
Log this data in Ovia, and your fertility score will be updated accordingly. Using Clearblue OPKs is a very accurate way to track with Ovia!
Logging with the Clearblue Fertility Monitor
If you aren’t familiar with the Clearblue Fertility Monitor, it’s a touchscreen fertility monitor that records data directly from the Clearblue fertility tests you use with the Monitor.
You can set an alarm so the fertility monitor alerts you when it’s time to take a test on the 10 days each cycle when you need to provide hormone measurements. Once you’ve put your first morning urine to good use, insert the activated test stick directly into the fertility monitor where it will read your hormone levels.
If you are experiencing high or peak fertility, the monitor will let you know right away so you can maximize your chances of getting pregnant. That easy-to-read smiley face can only mean one thing…time to schedule a baby-making rendezvous with your partner!
