Baby in NICU

NICU support with ProgenyHealth

Nearly 1 in 10 babies are born premature in the US. Many spend their first days of life in a hospital neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). It can be a time of high stress for parents. That’s why support is so important to help get them through it.

ProgenyHealth’s mission is to make sure your baby:

  • Gets the best care for their specific needs
  • Comes home at the right time
  • Has every chance to grow healthy

To do this, they work closely with the doctors and nurses that care for your baby. They share what they know about getting your baby the best level of care under your health plan’s benefits and based on your baby’s needs. They do this all over the country using the latest research. This means they know what works in many situations. They can help make sure each baby’s care team has this information as well.

But their most important role is with moms, dads, and loved ones. It can be scary to have a baby in the NICU. That’s why they reach out to you quickly by phone and then stay connected with you throughout the first months of your baby’s life. Their team of experienced NICU and pediatric nurses, and social workers, provide support, advice, and help finding resources.
