Many specialists recommend that couples visit a fertility specialist after one year of trying to conceive for those under 35, and six months for those 35 or older. This visit is often critical in diagnosing and treating a couple’s fertility issues.
More than half of those who are diagnosed with infertility are eventually able to conceive, sometimes with just a bit more trying, and other times with the assistance of different fertility services.
But there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to treating it. Walmart has partnered with Kindbody to help those enrolled in a Walmart medical plan access high-quality fertility care (like IUI and IVF), and save money while doing so.
Your benefits
If you’re enrolled in a Walmart medical plan (AMP), the AMP will pay for 75% eligible medical expenses, including fertility medications, for covered services received from a Kindbody Signature Clinic through the Centers of Excellence program for family building, after your network deductible is met, up to a $20,000 maximum lifetime benefit.
If you are interested in participating in the Centers of Excellence program for family building, visit One.Walmart.com/FamilyBuilding. You will begin with an initial consultation with a Kindbody Signature Clinic clinician, either virtually or in person, to begin the development of a personalized care plan. Kindbody provides a dedicated patient care navigator to provide program support to you and your family throughout the process.
