Time saving hacks for bottle feeding

As parents, we are always trying to find ways to save time and make things easier so that we can enjoy more time with our family. Whether you breastfeed, pump or bottle feed, feeding baby takes a lot of time and effort. From preparation to cleaning up post meals, it can be a drag, But fear not, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite time-saving hacks for bottle-fed babies.

  1. Consistency is key

Once you find a brand of formula and a bottle that your baby likes, stick with it. Unless instructed by your pediatrician, there is no need to experiment with either. By experimenting with different formulas or bottles you run the risk of tummy issues or a mix of bottle parts that might not fit together. Save time by going with what is working for your and your baby.

  1. Purchase enough bottles to get through the day

Newborns typically eat every 2-3 hours in those early days. That’s a lot of bottles and not a ton of time to clean those bottles. Nevermind the fact that you also need to rest, give yourself a break by making sure you have enough bottles on hand to make it through a full day without having to stop and clean after every feeding.

  1. Prep nighttime bottles before you go to bed

Sleep is precious. And every second counts when you need to feed your hangry baby in the middle of the night. So prep ahead by either mixing bottles and keeping them in the fridge or portioning out formula in bottles and having your filtered water ready to go. Or try the Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced which automatically makes a warm formula bottle instantly.

  1. Make cleaning bottles as easy as possible

Cleaning, sterilizing and drying bottles can be time consuming, really time consuming, with a bottle brush, sterilizer and drying rack. Transform this daily chore with the Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro® – the first machine that automatically washes, sterilizes & dries bottles and pump parts at the push of a button. Amazing! It powerfully cleans with 20 high pressure water jets, kills 99.9% of germs with natural steam, then dries everything with HEPA-filtered, germ-free air. The Bottle Washer holds 4 bottles from any brand and most pump parts, is easy to use and features 6 functions (Wash, Sterilize & Dry; Wash-Dry; Wash only; Sterilize-Dry; Sterilize Only; Dry Only). Not to mention it is eco-friendly and uses 50% less water than hand washing.

  1. Make on-the-go feedings easier

Preparation is key in making it as easy as possible to feed baby away from home.  Pre-portion formula into snack bags, store in a clean bottle and make sure you bring along a bottle of filtered water to make your baby a meal in a snap.
