Bruschetta healthy pregnancy recipe

Having guests over anytime soon? It’s easy to disguise a perfect pregnancy food as a regular, tasty appetizer if it’s something like this bruschetta with fresh tomato.

Ingredients

  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 loaf sourdough baguette
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil

Directions

  1. Core your tomatoes and then dice them into tiny pieces. Add to a bowl.
  2. Add your chopped basil and minced garlic.
  3. Add 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar.
  4. Stir and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Slice a piece of the baguette up into four slices.
  6. Add Olive oil to a skillet and heat over medium heat.
  7. Add your baguette slices.
  8. Toast over the olive oil until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Top your toast with the tomato basil mixture and serve.
